Irritating Clutch NOISE
Hey;

I have a very irritating noise in my clutch (2004 GT)
Its a chirp/squeak as if something is dry
I am an beginner, far from a pro, I know its not a throw bearing, as its not loud/rough enough
Its there when I start the engine
If I push in on the clutch JUST a bit, it gets louder
Push it in more, it softens
About 3/4 its gone
When its fully in, no noise at all of course
Anyway, let me know what you think!
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply
Is there anything else it could be?
I was told it wasnt a throw bearing...?
There is only 80k on it, I also thought it was too soon to worry about a throw bearing...
But it could be, IDK

I've had TOB's go a lot sooner than 80k and multiple times on the same tranny. Did a mechanic say it wasn't a TOB?

I didnt think they went that often...
Yeh, the mechanic just had a quick listen and feel of the clutch pedal as I just stopped in to get his opinion...
He said it wasnt loud enough, varied and couldnt feel any vibs in the pedal...?
I havent gone anywheres else yet as I would like to get some opinions from all of you on here first
Thanks for the reply!

Do you know how much a FORD TOB would run me?
As far as the clutch...It seems fairly strong...
I dont think I drive it any harder than anyone else that owns one...Maybe a bit
But its my daily driver and will be from the last salt of spring to the first salt in fall...
