need some help with SRS

i have a 2000 mustang v6 and i recently purchased a 2002 roush stage 2. my question is on the v6 i have a crash sensor in the front rebar and the roush wiring has no plug for sensor. i have done some research on the net and found out that the roush has no crash sensors. will the SRS module under the dash fit from the v6 to the roush. cause the roush was smashed in the front. thanks for any help.

I wouldn't get into swapping parts for airbags personally. When it comes to safety items they should be repaired to factory spec. I'm surprised that Roush would eliminate a crash sensor, seems weird to me.

i spent about an hour and a half at the local ford dealer to find out the gt has an internal inertia sensor in the SRS control module and the v6 uses a external crash sensor. thanks for the input but i will need a new SRS control module if i want the airbags to work again. it is at a steep price though. 600$. do you know of anywhere i can get one cheaper maybe. or is it a dealer only item.

^^^ Sorry guys, I've been away on business all week and forgot my Internet stick at home! D'oh!

2000roush, you are bang on - the Roush Stage 2 does use an internal inertial switch in airbag control module and the V6 uses a external crash sensor. I'd start calling the wreckers. Good luck.
