Sean Hyland Motor Sports
Hey guys I am looking to have a Kenne B SC installed on my 2008 GT I am lean towrd Sean Hyland in Woodstock for the purchase and install I would like too know if anyone on here has had dealings with them and what the result may have been. I am hearing so far that they are higher in price point then other places but they do good work. The price does not scare me as I feel if the work and service is good you get what you pay for IMO. Just want to know if there service is good and they stand behind there work.

Never dealt with SHM before but I've heard he is quite the mod motor expert. Saw him on SpikeTV's Horsepower show building a 4.6 for them. Just announced he is now the first authorized Shelby builder outside of the US...

i don't know anyone personally that has had work done there, but everytime i go by there's a handful of "dream" cars there. Last week there were 2 full road race cars, a Full Drag cobra, and a pimped cobra from Illinois. And that's just the cars that were outside, saw a 60's camaro i thought on a hoist.
In the summer the one day there were 2 Ford GT's, 2 full size car haulers (nascar trailer sized) and multiple classic mustangs and modded cobras in the parking lot.
All those people can't be wrong can they? All i know is i almost run into the ditch everytime i go past as i'm staring at what happens to be outside on that run. Some amazing cars go in and out of there.

A bubby of mine got a cold air intake and exhaust system for his '07 GT from him, and he said that it was more but the service is great. I also seen him on spike, and if he has been chosen by them to build a motor, its got to be good.

Most shops sell their souls for a bit of print / air time... seen it done.
That said, I believe SH is fairly reputable though I have never dealt with him myself. Avoid the butcher shops.
Go ask him them some q's and see how it goes. If he gets bent, go elsewhere.
Just remember all shops have horror stories... all!

I bought a 2valve longblock from him and it works just great. It was pricey but He threw in a free pair of longtubes because I paid cash. After the motor was complete purchased and installed, I made a call to ask a few questions and I felt very pushed to the side. Although Sean was knowledgable and has a state of the art facility, he is very busy, and he rarely returned my calls after the purchase. The manager Wayne was very rude and treated me like a little kid. Product was good. Service not so much.
I'd suggest dealing with steeda.ca I went there after the SHM experience and Pat, Todd and Mike are a pleasure to deal with. I've had work done there and bought many parts from Pat. Mike is a smart mechanic, The weekend before Pinks, Pat even lent me his personal alternator off his car when mine blew up on the dyno. Can't ask for anymore than that!
