05+ Throttle Body R&D Info

As many of you 05+ customer's have now found, aftermarket TB's for all car's, especially the new vehicles equipped with ETC are garbage. The reason this is, is because of something called "RJ", which is how they setup the throttle body from the manufacturing plant and usually not done properly. On the newer vehicles, after installing a TB you will get a wrench light, the vehicle will go into failsafe mode, etc even with custom tuning.

Now is your chance to get a great throttle body with OEM Drivability and Reliability (custom tuning required). After doing some R&D with the GT500 we have decided the best and only TB upgrade for the 05+ GT's is a GT500 Throttle Body. This unit is a dual bore 60mm setup, which is 5mm larger centre to centre spacing longitudinally.

Nothing, I mean nothing is better than an OEM part if you can use it.

Now available for $320.00 + applicable tax's and custom/mail order tuning fee's.

Stuff like this is hard to judge really because conditions between pulls are very hard to keep identicle. Maybe 5-7rwhp, better throttle response. TB's are way more noticable on blower car's and pick up good power with focrced induction.

Yes, as with pretty much anything on the 05+ vehicles you will need a tune

Thanks Paul.
I'm not really looking for gobs of power, but I would
like to get rid of the throttle lag from the 'drive by wire '
