For those who have just started racing your GT, this is one of the best reads you will find in regards to getting some good times from your NA 4.6.

Wow, If I get some Weld Draglites and Front Skinnies I would drop aboy 60lbs of rotating weight! Thats over .5 seconds in the 1/4! Hmmmm....

wont work exactly like that...u will drop close to it but more because of using slicks the wheels themsself wont give u half a sec...one thing with Drag wheels u have less chance of breaking stuff and with skinnies u generally get netter reaction times cuz the car is more responsive off the line...but if u r running ;ets say 13.0 on a slickl right now using lets say V6 wheels u wont run 12.50s by switching to drag wheels...

the article is very good Bill was one of the first if not the first to run 12s with a completely bolt-on 2V 4.6

i followed his advices long time ago when Stangnet was the board to be

i ran 13.2 @ 105 with nothing more bus Drag Wheels, Slicks, 4.10s, Foxbody Springs, 90/10s, MAC Dumps and some minor weight reduction...thru stock paper filter and H-pipe

That is for sprung weight. Unsprung weight eg wheels, brakes is .1 for every 10lbs.

I managed to get mine to go 13.20 with just ET drag slicks, Eibach drag springs, an offroad X pipe and the almighty K&N. Stock gears! Hoping to dip into the 12's this year if I can track down some sticky tires again.
