C&L intake kit?
i was contemplating getting a C&L intake kit for my cobra, i have a K&N right now but its plastic and it seems to restrict just as bad as the stick intake system, so does anyone know any info on C&L products? any good? stay away?
heres a link, its at the bottom and it has a pic for a 99-01 cobra kit.

i dont know much about either, but id say k&n is good stuff.
dont see how a C&L will do much better.
stick with what you got
but thats just my opinion.
i just took off the snorkle on mine. went from 3 inch opening to 6-7"

i dont care about the power Gains, although there would be a bit of a difference considering i just have the filter and heat sheild in there because thats all a kn kit is. its just the rubbery on the kn looks like total *** IMO

As far I see, the only kits that come with MAF's are C&L's "MAF Systems" ...which is not what Lane is looking at.

Look at it this way: How big is your throttle body? If its smaller than the rest of the air tract, I wouldn't worry about it too much The stock FOX intake system with a panel K&N is good for more than enough power to split the block in half, so if its anything like the fox intake tract, I'd leave it well enough alone.
