Question HYDRABOOST - Retrofit

Hello All,

I'm new to this message forum so if I make a mistake in process please correct me.

I am retrofitting a hydroboost unit from a 03' Cobra into a Classic 67'. I received the unit without proper labelling on the ports. The unit has 3 ports total: 1 on the body on top at 12 o'clock; 2 on the left side (outboard) that face up and are in a block that is attached to the boost unit. One of the ports on this block is a return to the P/S pump reservoir. My question is "which port is fed the fluid from the P/S pump?" Can anyone help?

Regards,
ofg

what year did the unit come from? There are two different types. ONe has three pressure fittings and the other style has 2 pressure fittings and one fitting that just gets a clamp on the rubber hose.

Thumbs up

As stated, it's from an 03'. I received a reply within 6 hours of my post from another board stateside and I received a great diagram to boot. The boost unit is in and functioning great. Thanks for your interest and good luck with your project.
