Well.....due to the recent outbrake of post about the local police cracking down on modified cars, i would be looking for a "Catted" mid pipe....the fine for no cats is 375 a side...as for BBK, i have there Catted X and it seemed to fit well.

good luck with your decision

Agreed.. Myself I have a MAC Prochamber. I haven't had any problems with fit and the sound is great.

BBK also makes a great fit ( Better then MAC in most cases )
Your best bet it to head out to some of the meets and listen to what people have.

A guy I know put on a BBK O/R X and really doesn't like the sound. The x is a clamshell design not a true x so that may have something to do with it. I put on a UPR x pipe last year and I really like it. It was cheap and the fit and quality is fantastic.

I put a Prochamber on the wifes GT. I really like the deeper rumble it gives.

I would highly recommend a midpipe to finish off your catback over HID's anyday. It will change the sound considerably and net a few horses as well.

BBK is fairly good quality and if the price is right why not.

I had an off road UPR X pipe on my car till just recently. It sounded really good, real loud and a perfect fit. Cheap too!
Only bad part was it was illegal; thats why I took it off.

Stock headers are the same length as shorties.. there for most if not all mid pipes will fit stock headers.

It's only when you are switching to longtubes where you HAVE to replace the mid-pipe.

I'm running MAC Shorties, Stock H-pipe ( for my e-test ) and MAC Cat back right now.. fit has been great on my car.
