What Brand Oil filter is everybody using?

What Brand Oil filter is everybody using?

Thanks for the oil answer now what is the filter that everybody is using?? Does anybody know the size??

I always have run Motorcraft filters. I have seen them cut in half and compared to other filter makes and there was no comparison. If it's good enough for Ford it's good enough for me. The size depends on what you drive. Most newer Ford v8's use FL-820-S from Motorcraft.

Sorry, I just read your other thread. I'm pretty sure the Mach 1 will take an FL-820-S but someone else should know for sure. If not I can check it out when I get to work tomorrow.

FL 820 S is the correct filter for all of the 4.6 and 5.4L applications, except for some of the newer police vehicles, which use a smaller filter. The Motorcraft filters are very high quality, if you don't use those make sure you're not using a crappy $3 filter. FYI, $7.75 is the full retail price on the Motorcraft filter, which I think is pretty reasonable.

I used K&N for awhile, ran a few Napa Gold's and then went back to Motorcraft filters. Seem to be working good.
