8.8 diff

will the diff from a cougar or lincoln fit in my stang I know the thunderbirds fit but a little to long

What year Mustang? I put an 8.8" from a Thunderbird Turbocoupe in my 94 V6, just had to swap axles and caliper mounting brackets from my old one.

i'm almost certain that the 8.8 from a lincoln is the same as a cougar/tbird one...the only difference is the axle length....so if you have a fox stang or SN95 it shoudl bolt right up and if you use your stangs axles you'll be fine...
