clutch to hard
i have an 89 mustang lx with about 85,000 km on it i bought last year i am experienceing a great amount of pain in my left knee due to the fact of my clutch being so hard it actually feels like the spring has to much tension or something anyway i want to know how i can addres this problem becuase i cannot enjoy the ride any more without my knee cracking so please if anyone knows what i can do to diaognost this problem would be a great help and if i have to replace the whole clucth which is the softest clutch for my knee out there, thanks guys

well to tell u the truth i dont know the clucth itself works awsome it engages and disengages properly i am thinking it could have been the clutch cable or somethink well tell me what the softest clutch out there thanks

Well this is only from ripping apart my car this winter, and actually seeing how the clutch assembly works. it is pretty basic.
if a new cable does not work, you might want to try spraying lube on the shaft. i don't know how good of an idea that is, because if you get any on the clutch it self, you might get a slipy clutch and wreck it.
So after all that said, drop the tanny and get a stock clutch.
I only say stock, because i would imagine it would be the softest.
The clutch i just installed is a SPEC stage 2+ and it seems pretty light, but graby.
