Engine wont start when hot

Engine wont start when hot
I have an 89 mustang lx with an 86 engine and it wont start when the enngine is hot.

Ya the starter is engaging the engine turns but nothing. I even put a shield around the starter cause it seemed it was to close to the headers. But if u wait 30 min to an hour it will start no problem

Could be the ignition modual at the distributor.If you haven't tried that yet.
