First Canadian event for the Yellow Mustang Registry
i just wanted to send an invite to everyone here to the First ever Canadian event for the Yellow Mustang Registry (YMR)...it will take place July 13, 14 & 15th...it will be held at J.C. Saddington Park at the mouth of the Credit River in Port Credit (Mississauga) - where the Mississauga Waterfront Festival is held. This Park can hold up to 600 cars, so there will be plenty of room for YMR's (and other Yellows) to park together...it will be in conjunction with the GHMA Stamede...this years Stampede will be an All-Years Mustang Show...there will be a show and shine and other activities that i will post up as soon as i have them...i'm organizing it along with the help of a fellow ymr member
i wanted to add that YMR has ''rules'' for non yellow participants and i will post them up..hope to see you all there...as soon as i have more info i will add it....
thanks!!
**please note**...i did not write the rules for non yellow participants
lemme know if you can make it

This message is for our non-yellow friends that enjoy hanging with the YMR members during the events. We now have quite a few of you in different colored Mustangs, or in different cars all together, and that's great!
One of the things I want to concentrate on for all future YMR events, is being able to take photos and video of the yellow Mustang cruises and shows without different color vehicles in the center of the pack. As you can guess, the photos we take for the Yellow Mustang Registry website are best represented with all yellows in a straight line.
This is only an issue for the DAY OF SHOW events, usually a Saturday. All days leading up to the Saturday cruise will be considered more informal (although it may be common courtesy to the YMR members to do the same practice for other days). So for the cruise to the YMR show, parking during the YMR show, and cruising after the show, I'm asking that any other colors respectfully hang to the back. The view is better back there anyway! You'll enjoy the yellow train laid out in front of you.
This is in NO way meant as a derogatory comment to any color vehicle, although I have a feeling I may get a few nastygrams. Yellow isn't the only cool color, it's just the one we all happened to purchase. This is simply a way to maximize the exposure during the hundreds of photos and videos taken throughout our cruising.
This topic has jokingly been brought up in the past, and I'm now posting this as an official YMR guideline so the rule applies to every car and every event. With over 4300 yellow Mustang owners now registered with YMR, we are having to find new ways to deal with the growth.
This is not directed at any one car, it's been a topic brought to my attention at just about every event,
so don't feel like we're shunning you away. You're still family members!
