17' Rims From 2007 on my 2000

Hey can anybody tell me if rims from a 2007 will fit my sons 2000? I'm not sure if the bolt pattern is the same or not. any help is appreciated.

Bolt pattern is the same, offset is different. The 05-up wheels have more backspacing, so they would tuck under the car a bit too much on the 94-04 cars. Difference is about 1/2", not huge, but visually it doesn't work well.

Possible, but then you have to watch the stud length for the wheel nuts. You need to have a minimum of 1/2" of thread engagement.

Thanks for the info and tips guys! Just curious, are there any safety concerns with using spacers? I have had no experience with them at all, and it is my kid, so I won't be allowing him to jepordize safety for a nice set of rims.

Not really, as long as you get enough threads catching.

Maximum Motorsports sells some nice hubcentric spacers in 1/2":
