Mac Pro Chamber

American Muscle's October Sale has the V6 Mac Pro Chamber on sale for $279.99 US. I have been wanting one of these ever since I put the duals on. So I bought it. (I did ask my wife first if it was OK. She said no.) A guy on another forum had a used one for $200.00 US plus shipping and Pay Pal fees, that would have put me into it for just over $300.00 US for used. I did offer him $150.00 US, but wouldn't take it. I searched and found a $15.00 discount coupon for AM online and ordered it. After it was all said and done it cost me $362.58 US for new. Hopefully that will solve the drone that I am getting with the H pipe. It looks like fellow member Roddy will be making a delivery to my place in the near future. I'm sure my wife will know why he is stopping out front when she sees him carrying a large box towards the garage.

Cool, make sure you post a sound clip once you get them installed!

Tell your wife its a surprise for her, put it on and take her for a drive. Tell her you got rid of the annoying drone so she can better enjoy car trips! Failing that get a cat and tell her it was bought for just the box so the cat has a place to sit.

I guess I'll be seeing you in a couple of days. Hopefully I also get to deliver a nice fresh transmission to myself this week. If it doesn't come soon, that will be it for my Mustang this season.

If you don't get it. It will make that itch to get it out next spring that much stronger!

The itch is strong now, lol. I remember years ago pulling the wide ratio Saginaw out of a '79 Camaro, and dropping in a close ratio super T-10...made the car much more enjoyable to drive.

Easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission. I discovered a long time ago that when it comes to cars and mods, most women will never notice the difference unless you tell them, and even when you do tell them, it's usually followed up by that puzzled look and the question "Doesn't have one of those already? " and "Whats wrong with the one that's on it?". Congrats on the new Mac !

I tried to convince the wife we needed new pu$$y just for the box, but she didn't go for it.

Should sound good, hope the drone is gone for you as that gets old quick.

You got that right. I took a video today of what the car sounds like with the H pipe. I'll take one after I get the Pro Chamber installed. Now to figure how to upload the video's.
