Ford Mustang sales stay strong in March

Sales of the Ford Mustang rocketed up in the month of March, with the 9,305 units sold representing a solid 21 percent improvement compared to the 7,688 sold last year. The Ford Mustang has had sales increases compared to 2013 for each of the first three months this year, and is the fifth straight month of improvements. The nearly 10,000 Mustangs sold also represented the third best sales month of the last three years. Overall Ford Mustang sales for 2014 tally up to 19,596, 13.1 percent up compared to 2013.

Overall Ford Motor Company sales were up three percent in the U.S., both overall and for retail. The Fusion did its part to boost that number, with the 32,963 sold making for the model’s best ever sales month.

The rebates are pretty substantial on the 2014's which will be a big help for sure.

Likely a combination of hefty discounts on the 2014s ( I got $6500 knocked off the GT I ordered in late Febuary this year ), and a negative first reaction to the 2015 ( too Euro looking ).
