Jack Watson Announces Future Plans for Saleen Performance Vehicles
Automotive performance icon Jack “Doc” Watson is teaming up with Revstone Global Performance Vehicles (GPV) to integrate the Saleen Performance Vehicles enterprise within GPV.
A year ago at SEMA, it was announced that Watson, creator of the legendary Hurst Performance Research vehicles, was joining the Saleen Board of Directors. Today, a year later, he is announcing the next step in the evolution of Saleen.
"The teams responsible for engineering and development of Saleen products will dedicate their skills to the creation of a full line of specialized and compelling performance vehicles as part of Revstone Global Performance Vehicles and is showing several new products at the 2010 SEMA Show", said Watson. “At the same time the GPV team will ensure no Mustang is left behind as they continue to create Speedlab performance components for Mustangs of all types.”
As a Director of Revstone GPV, Doc also stated, “My years of producing successful strategic and collectible vehicles have taught me that we have a team of proven professionals who have the knowledge, passion and purpose to build the finest vehicles possible. Revstone GPV and the Saleen organization are that team. So stay tuned, the best is yet to come.”
