2010 Mustang Revealed

I think it lost its main character with this "update", but I like the '70 Mustang style headlight.
I was thinking the interior update is welcome by the look of the preview pics... but now I think the center console (with the CD, HVAC) is just put in there, not designed to be there... the 2005's looks better...
Hopefully these changes means changes in the quality of the materials...

It looks a little pinched up front but trying to be more aggressive. I like the fact they bumped the rear quarter a bit ( not enough though IMO).
I thinks it's one of those need to see the real thing moments. I didn't like the '99's at first untill I saw one and it was better in person.
So the question is in three years time will they make them HUGE with a flat front and LOOONG sloping roof? ;^)

Im not a fan of the new tailights, nore the shaving of the edges on the top edge of the rear by the trunk. I liked the sharper look better then the rounded edge there. I like the new hood though, and i like the new shift **** lol.

i really like the interior... and the front lights...
it looks like it'd be one of those cars you need to see in person rather than pics to decide..
with the new camaro coming out.. you'd think the GT would offer more power than 315hp... since the v6 camaro is offering 300hp...

From what I've heard, the Camaro will be out Spring or Summer '09... And it's much better looking than the 2010 Mustang. Sorry guys, but I didn't like the Gayardo concept, and the 2010 Mustang has some of it's ugly styling cues.
btw. This is another case of a manufacture getting a car right, then butchering it with the next freshening/redesign.

05+ Mustangs run mid-high 13s bone stock at sea level. With the new Camaro SS expecting low 13s it's not gonna take anything more than a few bolt ons to keep up. The camaro SS is going to be a great car though.
Last but not least the challenger R/T (which is similarly priced to the GT) will get killed all day long since it has problems getting past 14s stock at sea level despite what some magazines are saying.
The power level is fine for now. With the re-introduction of the 5.0L a year or two after this design comes out. I'm sure we'll be walking away from the competition at will.
