I'm a little surprised by how many people have or are going to change their exhausts systems.I know when I got my car the sales crew stood off to the side when they started the car up for the first time that everybody had a big grin on there faces just from the sound emanating from the exhausts while I just closed my eyes and smiled and chuckled to myself but I already want to change the sound to make it a little more obnoxious I see that I'm not the only one,is there something wrong with that/me/us?

There is nothing wrong lol we would just like to be heard a little more. I get bored listening to music all the time so I like listening to the sound of the engine/exhaust...... but I want a little more out of the exhaust now. The stock sounds fine and could live with it with out wanting to upgrade the exhaust.... but why? when we can upgrade it to get more sound from it?

That is the reason I got rid of the v6 stang and got the GT so I could get better sound out of it.

I can definitely relate.
My 2010 V6 (lol) had quite a bit of exhaust work done to it (more lol).
Full Magnaflow catback + X Pipe, etc, etc.

When I started up the 2014 GT for the first time...I was so let down, when I went WOT I was still let down.
My 2010 V6 was louder, much lower, deeper etc.

Day 2: The 2014 was off to the shop to get all the work done.

I wish I had the cash right now to do the exhaust so it is ready for spring...but oh well i will sit and wait. But the stock sounds not too bad after 13,000+ km so far. Had to drive it today as wife needed truck and parked in a underground parkade. and when I firerd it up after work it sounded not bad down there lol but cant wait to get something a little louder/deeper. lol
