Alexis gets a Lung Transplant, Some New Eye Shadow, and a Mullett!!!!
Hey guys,
I just finished installing some new stuff to include an Airaid CAI, Headlight Spllitters, and a Rear Window Louver. I also installed a set of 3.7 badges which look pretty slick. I also bought the Intune Tuner from American Muscle and I'm really happy with that as well. See the pics below. Man I love this car!!!!

Thanks for the compliments guys. When I was in the middle of buying the car people I knew didn't think the Kona Blue would look nice and thought I should get Grabber Blue or Red but as you noticed it looks awesome. Also because of the colour, it looks absolutely ferocious from about an hour after sunset.
The Louvers are from Astra Hammond (Willpak Industries in Oakville The website is Rear Window Louvers | Willpak Industries ). I got them from Canadian Tire believe it or not. It cost me $415.00 altogether. I looked on AM first but after the shipping charges were added in CT was around $50.00 cheaper. The installation was very simple. There are two things though. The first is I don't know if you've ever worked with the 3M adhesion promoter (which comes with the louver) but I thought it was some type of cleaner for the glass but it's actually an adhesive itself so I just slopped this stuff around where each mounting plate would go thinking that it would evaporate but it hardens and I had to scrape the excess off so be careful with that stuff. Oh and you should have two people when you are first placing the louver down to mount the plates on the glass because once the plates touch that adhesion promoter it bonds like Krazy Glue.
The second thing is that it's made from ABS Plastic and when it gets hot, the Louver will lift off the window (I'm attaching a picture). It lowers back down after you drive for a while but until that happens it will vibrate like hell if you drive in a head wind or go above 100 Km/h. But I wrote to Willpak and explained what was going on and they sent me two more mounting plates at no charge so the problem is solved.
As I said somewhere in another thread Canadian Tire actually has an after market catalogue at the Automotive counter with all kinds of cool stuff in it. I never thought about them for any kind of accessories before but now I always consider them as well when I'm looking for stuff.
