Best Sounding Exhaust
#12
On the 'vert, we have a Prochamber midpipe, with Magnaflow 2.5" cat back with the packs.
I love the sound, loud on throttle, with a deep grumble from the prochamber. The set up is very reasonable in cost too.
It must sound good because the wife says it is too loud! :laughhard

i have a bassani catted x pipe and cat back and the car sounds unreal. i have a clip of it somewhere but i am out at work so i can't post it.
Why do people still like the sound of flows? They are really old school. don't get me wrong i use to like them until every mustang in the country has them. there are so many others out there that sound better and flow way better to.

I like my Ravin' mufflers that I installed. I personally think they sound great, and apparently so do lots of people behind me while I'm drivin'.... If I pull into a Timmies and back her into a spot, someone always comes over to comment on the sound.
When you give her the juice, she sounds hot. Sounds good on the highway when she is locked in on the "sweet spot" as well.
That's it for me. Nothing crazy expensive. It does the job and sounds sweeeeeeeet...

just put the Borla axle back on my 05GT yesterday, and it sounds incredible. When I had the stock mufflers off(b4 I put on the Borlas) I started it up 2 see how it sounded, and 2 my surprise it wasn't nearly as loud as I expected. Tell ya this much the car's turning alot more heads now!

Borla's are sweet
I remember a customer had Bolra's on a 98 Cobra and what a sound. Not loud at idle which is good to sneak under the radar, but damm mean when you open her up. I told my buddies about Magna-Flow, great sound and best bang for the buck. My buddy got his cat-back for $500.00 and was the best money he ever spent. Everyone else wanted Flowmasters for 650.00 at least and it isn't even stainless steel. My other buddy has a Mach 1 with Magna Pac's and damm that car scares people when crusing downtown. Only problem with Magna Flow's on 99-04's is that the tips keep coming loose from the hangers making it move side to side. I'm sure you could spot weld the hanger to keep it from moving.
