Best Southern Ontario Performance shop

Hey everyone I currently have a 2012 Supercharged mustang 5.0. Im looking at increasing the boost which will require forging the engine, new transmission most likely the T56 magnum and some other work. Im looking for recommendations on the best shop to do this work in southern Ontario. Any opinions and recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

That ought to create some debate. No help for you dude, but who did the blower on your '12 ? I would have thought that would be a good place to start if you were happy.

Had Brant County ford instal a Roush blower on her great dealership, thought that would be enough power but I have the mod bug and Brant county ford cant tune the vehicle minus Roush tunes.

Fair enough, Steeda, Dasilva and Hyland are all big Ontario Mustang names, but I've heard people bitch about all three, and I've heard people kiss all three's *** as the second coming of Tuning Christ. No experience with any of them, I'm sure someone does though.

A bit of a drive for you, but DaSilva Racing in Pickering does great work, and is always very customer-oriented. They are doing a ton of work on the the late model cars these days.

A bit closer would be Sean Hyland Motorsport in Woodstock. My buddy Peter Mills is working on the phones and counter there now. They have lots of experience with supercharged Coyote stuff already.

cheers
Ed

I have done a ton of research on Twin Turbo set ups for my '12 and honestly the money I would be spending on forging the engine and getting it set up for the boost of a twin turbo, I would be better off buying a built longblock from MMR for just over $8000, and it will be capable of handling well over 1000hp, or the shortblock for just over $4000. As for the transmission, I've seen a lot of guys running the getrag with big hp from boost, and very little issues, however they aren't running the stock clutch or driveshaft.

I'm a fan of the guys over at Steeda.ca - they are top notch. If you're talking forged internals though I'd worry less about who's doing the re-and-re and worry more about who they use as an engine builder - that's where you want the expertise. Beatty & Woods Ltd in Mississauga, Ontario is where I'd put my money.

These are basically your main choices plus there is Street Tech Performance in the Kitchener area, and Misener Motorsports Brantford.
