Driver heated seat is not working.

I just picked up my new to me mustang and the dealer never repaired my heated seat as I asked. They stated the element was bad and were not willing to replace it.

I am curious if anyone has had this issue and if the replacement is a tasking job. Ford told me there is an upper and lower element but neither of mine work so I am questioning if the technician even tried to figure out what was wrong. I can't see that both could be bad.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Its a nice feature on a convertible exspecially during the cooler days!...Ok I am getting a little soft and enjoy some creature comforts!

If you got it in writing from the dealer that they were to fix it then make them fix it. If he told he was was going to fix it and never, then go talk to the manager and if they still say no and you just bought the car then tell them you want your money back and to to another dealer becasue obviously they can not be trusted. There are time limits to protect your from this sort of stuff so give him your demands and wants in writing especially if you ask for your money back...I would send it by email at least or by registered type of letter.

If it was not declared that it did not work they have to repair it (assuming your laws are the same as Alberta) Look into OMVIC and give them a call, they will be able to clarify what the laws state.
