LX notch for me, but growing up in the late 80s the hatchback, even in LX form was much more popular. Funny how things have reversed.

I don't know if I've ever posted in this thread but I used to have an 89 hatch lx, and that's my fave.

I've always been a fan of the coupe. I had an 86, 89, and 92.

I love the hatch GT, the rear wing with cheese grater tail lights and low skirt with dual exhaust dumps is the major aesthetic that made me love these cars.

I prefer hatch models over the coupe.

It's purely subjective aesthetics for me though.

The coupe might be lighter and stiffer over all and make a better platform for any form of racing, but it's always looked kind of "half done" or "aerodynamically stunted" to me.

I've always preferred fastbacks and 2+2's over any of the coupe models though. From the 65-70, 70-73, 74-78 (yes, I even like the mustang II's) and right up to the last of the foxes.

SN95 kind of broke the trend of offering a coupe and a fastback. I pretty much stopped paying attention to Mustangs with the SN95, they didn't do a thing for me. Except for swapping a few select parts to my foxes....
