Figured I'd try these since everyone is using the Mt's, I wanted to be different. That will be my next tire unless these are great. They look like they should stick. Yes they are 15's and yes I am running the 03 Mach but as some of you know I am switching to Centerline Convo Pros all around so that is why the 15's. I like the white lettering , should look retro (old school) on the Mach. What ya think, comments?

Very Sticky tire...dont get caught in the rain or you will be dead.
Guys didnt get many passes out of them last yr but incredibly sticky..

are you using them as track use only?
Also lots of complaints about picking up stuff with them due to the stickiness.
I would love to try a set myself...but I bought a new set of M/T's in the fall.

Bet you cant wait now...lol

Does the sidewall seem fairly flexible on the Hoosiers? The reason I ask, I went from M/T bias E-T Streets to the radial version, to be eligible for a specific street class at the Super Coupe Shootout. But the 5-speed car doesn't like the stiffer sidewalls ... the bias M/Ts were the bomb.

Anyone know how the sidewall stiffness on the Hoosier radials compares to the M/T radials?

cheers

The sidewall on these is very flexible. Should wrinkle for my app and could provide the needed flex for roading it. If you look at the 2nd to last pic the sidewall is caved in and is very flexible. It is a very soft and plyable tire.

Contact "Ron McKay" Hoosier Tire Canada at 905-685-3184 he will fill you in n the specs of their Road race tires. good luck

Thanks for the info. I had already priced the Hoosiers from Ron a few weeks ago. Stupid me didn't take a good look at them when we were at Speedorama. I'll have to see if I can get a taker for my M/Ts, and give the Hoosiers a shot maybe.

Road race Hoosiers for doing open-track events, I get good used ones for free usually.

cheers

I had heard about them and than like you saw them at the car show. Phoned him 3 days later and bought a set. Killer price also.

Like mentioned I know that the Mickey Thompsons hook, so I thought I would try these and if they are not hooking I can also go with the MT's. Someone has to go first!
