SO FAST FORWARD TO THIS WEEKEND AND I TAKE OUT THE BATTERY CHARGE IT UP CHANGE THE POST CONNECTORS CAUSE THEY DON'T LOOK SO GOOD HOOK UP THE BATTERY AND ALARM SEEMS TO FUNCTION LIGHTS BLINK BEEPS JUST LIKE BEFORE BUT I GET NOTHING WHEN THE KEY IS TURNED TO START DASH AND HEADLIGHTS GO OFF BUT NO CLICK FROM THE SOLENOID NO CRANKING NOTHING AT ALL ANY GUESSES FOR ME TO CHECK OUT I AM JONESING FOR MY STANG REALLY BAD AND WANT IT RUNNING THANKS MERCI

There are two possible options to eliminate the Battery as a problem.
1. See if it can be jump started.
2. Completely change out the battery with the new one.
(Though I'm just a amateur tinkering mechanic) - so if other people
have more experienced advice with this problem - please add some suggestions for BEARFAN because I know it would suck to not be able to drive around the Stang.
I've drained my battery twice in the middle of winter by leaving those damn canadian tire seat pads plugged in, and it took a jump from a moto master eliminator booster pack to get it past the stage you are describing. - the car jump didn't help @ all.
I don't think anything like the solenoid or starter though. I've never seen that as a problem after storing it indoors. (Not really exposed to weather).
You may just not be able to get enough juice to the large consumption components to get it to start, the alarm and lights don't take much 12v juice as it is when the car starts.
Hope this helps.

Your battery might not have enough to crank her over, even if you did charge it.The cells could be dead from being connected over the winter, and not getting charged during that time.Go to any Canadian Tire, and they can do a load test for free to see if this is the case.Which i am sure it is by the sounds of your post.
Good luck!

Yep sounds like your battery cells a NFG! I bet you put a new battery in there it should start right up!
If not then there is a power problem to the starter or maybe the solenoid is ready to collect its RRSP's and retire lol

On the transmitter, is there a picture of a horse? or is there a Ford logo on it?
Is there any warnings on any of the windows or under the hood?
And final question is it a Manual transmission? chances are your Saftey neutral switch is pooched....!
