leaking coolant?

DO NOT USE STOP LEAK!!!!!!!!!!

dont be a cheap ***, and pour 9 gallons of stop leak in to solve a coolant leak, then change your rad, and not do a coolant flush. grrrrrr, found out why i have no heat FFS. i could back flush that heater core for days and i still wont get it all out. and, do not put a 160 degree t stat in. jesus, whats wrong with some people.

some one really took care of this car, and then to have some one come along and do this to it? christ. what a ******.

i re filled for now, to see if i have heat, and i do, ish. i'll have to take it for a proper flush in the spring. i will post pics later of the globs of crap that came out of the heater core.

I agree, stop leak is not the way to go. I had a customer that tried that, I ended up replacing his rad and heater core, and breaking up the debris built up in the hoses.

I'm not a fan of any kind of "band aid" fixes...If your gonna fix it, fix it right!
