Need daytime running lights installed on my 05 GT Convertible

Hi guy's,
Just bought a Mustang GT Convertible 05 in the US, I went to a Ford dealership in the US to get installed or turned on the daytime running lights. They told me Ford didn't make a kit for 2005. Now I need to find some sort of a kit to install the DRL on my new car. As you probably know, it is mandatory in Canada in order to pass the safety check. Can you please help?
Bob

Welcome aboard and I would think a dealer in Canada would sell them. I could be wrong but I'm sure someone here can help. Good luck.

Whom ever you talked to at that dealer does not know what they are talking about.

The cars already are equiped with DRL's. You just go to your local dealer and have them turn on the DRL's using their tech tool. They hook the tool/computer up to the car and flash the Smart Junction Box (SJB) turning the setting on . Ross, one of our mustang members has three cars from the states and he had the DRL's turned on. I think the cost is around $100 or so.

To recap. You don't need a kit. The DRL's are the headlights. You just need to have them turned on. PM me and I will get more info for you. I have a budy who is a service rep. at a Ford SVT dealer here.
