Pypes Catted V6 Cross Over 409 or Aluminized.
Now I'm just getting confused.
I e-mailed Pypes about that material this cross over is made up of, and they stated 409 stainless steel, but if you read their advertisments, it states:
alumized steel with 409 stainless reinforcing plates @ the welds.
Blue oval claimes the whole thing is 409 stainless steel, but if you compare the description of this item on Pypes website and blue oval, one just replaces 16 gauge aluminized steel on pypes website with stainless steel on blue oval. Has anyone bought this cross over or know if one website is exaggerating?
Someone please let me know before I burn 400 bucks on something that'll rust through in 2 years.
Thanks!

I tried that and they said they had a stainless steel catted Cross over, and the part number they gave me is the Aluminized steel one, maybe e-mailing blue oval instead of pypes may get a better response since they are a distributor.
