Question for 2013 GT owners

I have a questions for the GT Owners.

1) Have you taken your GT on a road trip with atleast 1-2 tanks full highway driving?

2) What km's where you getting out of a tank?

3) where was the needle at when you filled it back up?

4) Where you using regular or premium fuel?

5) Is your GT stock or mods? If mods what mods?

6) what speed were you doing? I average 100-110 on highways.

I'm not worried about gas milage, Would like to know what to expect VS my V6 that is all.

Reason I am asking is I purchased a v6 last year and I like, especially for the fuel mileage on a trip (not so much that great on commutes). But I would like the louder growl and more power. So I am thinking of trading in for a 2013 GT. I wanted to get peoples info on the questions so I can make a rough judgement on if I should be trading in the V6 for a GT or not. I know I will loose money, but I can't make my V6 sound like a V8 no matter what I do without voiding warranty and still won't be perfect sound. Plus I am looking at changing the gears from 2.73 to 3.55 to get some more low end. Well between the gears + install, full exhaust + install I am putting out $2G+ for sure and won't be a GT.

Thanks for any insight you can give on your experience. Thanks.

I have an 06 GT,I get at least 500km per tank, now the newer cars should be better, because of the transmission.Others will chime in for sure.
If you worry about gas mileage, get a 4 cylinder.

I'm not worried. Wanted to know what difference I would expect that's all.

From what I've read online the 5.0's are getting 18-30mpg depending on how much you get into the throttle.

Thanks. I will do some more searching. Just wanted to see what Canadian's are getting first hand and such.

When I do a long trip 4+hours My display shows that I am getting 9.6L / 100km.
That is running 110-119kph.
All ran in the winter so far.

My car is a GT with 3.73 rear and 255/40VR19.
I hope this helps you.

I took a trip last summer and put 2500+km on. The car was brand new and only had a few hundred kms on it and I drove on average 115 km/h. About the best I saw was 11l/100 km but any chance I got to pass I wasn't easy on the throttle either.

VE6SDW and Chad..... Thanks for reporting in. If you had to guess or hope you know, How many km's did you get out of the tank?. Right now on my commute every day I am getting around that 9.2-9.7L/100km. But if I do a long trip, I can go from Edmonton to Saskatoon and still have about 1/8 or so of a tank left of regular grade fuel..

Were you guys running Regular or Premium fuel?

I never really logged how many km's per tank. I always run premium.

I too only run Premium.
I can run 500 km. But I normally refill at 1/2 of a tank.
With some of the bad weather I like to have lots of fuel incase a road gets closed ect.
