Rim Sizes?

Rim Sizes?
I have a set of 26.5 X 10 X 15 slicks in my shed. i think they are from a stock car but they should be good for drags...lots of life left.
Now my question is, what is the minimum size(width) rim i will need for these?
Also, when i find the rims, will they fit my car? SN95...

Just get some SN95 V6 15" steel or aluminium wheels to jam them on. That wheel width will be a bit too narrow, but it will fit.
BTW, drag tires won't work so well for drag racing, the tires are constructed to do well going around corners, not acceleration from a standing start ... but probably a bit better than most street tires.
cheers

LOL Come on ed think about this for a sec...
The tires are 26.5x10x15 the tires are really wide there is no way they will go on a V6 rim, My rims are 8" wide and I dont even think they'll go on mine, but I could be wrong.
How wide is a V6 rim? my GUESS would probly be 7" thats a 3" differance. These Tires look way wider then even 10"...

That is correct, not many 15" wheels will clear the Cobra rear brakes, I was thinking regular SN95 stuff. OEM 15" wheels will not.
As for the tire fit, you will probably find that the slicks have pretty flexible sidewalls, and can be squeezed on to much narrower wheels than you might expect. But it's a moot point anyhow, since they won't clear your rear brakes without getting some expensive 15" aftermarket aluminium drag wheels like Bogarts, etc.
Better off to get some 16" drag tires, if you're serious about hooking up better at the track. Factory SN95 16" wheels will clear the Cobra rear brakes.

I used Nickm50's last year.
They were a 15" rim, they did rub, but if we had more time, and they were my rims, we could have ground a bit off the rim, and filed the caliper a bit to clear.
I still used them, and raced them, but they made a bit of noise.
so i will just find a cheap set of 15X8 rims. maybe i will get lucky and come across some 15X9's...
Thanks guys.
