roll bars and cages

Next year my club will require roll over protection in order to participate in Lapping or Solo Sprint events at my local road racing course. I am officially driving myself nuts trying to come up with the safest/most reasonably priced option.

I would like to get a bolt in kit that still leaves my back seat usable, even if only to carry my tires.

Let's hear your experiences, even you drag racing guys can chime in!

Yes I'm aware of that. We haven't had specific issues with that here in Nova Scotia, it just falls under "mods" and your car should be appraised. It also helps that a club member owns a local insurance brokerage firm.

But the related issue of resale value is why I'd like to go with a bolt in bar.

My car has a weld-in 6-pt, but it's hard to climb in and out of, and forget using the back seat unless your putting stuff in from the trunk.

It really stiffens up the car though.

Should note, my stang is track-only, so I didn't have to consider resale/practicality/etc.
