Tire sizes????

i need a size for 15 x 8, 4.5 backspacing without having to take off stag shocks or beating the fender lip in, it is on an 89 gt, and im putting 15x 4 on front and need a size for them also thanks a lot, aalso what do u reccomend for drag radials, bfg mt

Drag radials, definitely the M/T's, as long as they are only used to drag, they are not a real safe tire for daily!!!
As for sizes, you should be safe with 255's to 265's out back, and up front, some guys run 155's to 195's.

See my reply on your other thread of the same topic, I think that 4.5" backspace is going to limit how much tire will fit.

Is this car your daily driver, with the drag radials being an extra for the track only?

I seen your post on my other thread fast ed, thanks for the info I figured I would be limited to the tire size, I bought the wheels off a friend who ordered the 5.5 backspacing and he gave me a good deal on them so i took them, 235 would be decent for the strip and street, I am still going to run my 17 inch cobra R's also, and yes this is my daily driver crash the 15" wheels are going to be for mostly track and a little street too
