Will these fit ? (rims)

I am looking into buying a set of 2005 17 inch Mustang Bullitt rims for my 84 SVO. I am not a huge fan of the rims they came with (SVO). I thought these would look good on it. I have seen one in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords and it looked good IMO. I have no idea of the width though, does anyone know if they will bolt on without any issues ? Thnx, Dave.

Good question. Do you have a 5 bolt pattern or 4?

SVO's in 84-86 came from the factory with 4 wheel disc brakes and 5 bolt 16 inch rims. Dave.

I believe they do fit,or you might need some wheel spacers to push them out a tad, which isn't a real big deal/Only way to find out is bolt them on,and rotate the wheels by hand to see if they clear while in motion.

I will be keeping the stock rims as well, they have brand new rubber on them too (nice) . I just really like the looks of those bullets on these cars too. There is a guy in kijiji that has 3 - 5 bolt cobra style rims as well cheap, I'm not sure what will look better though ?? On another note, I pulled the blue notch out of the garage yesterday and brought the SVO in for some polishing. It was pretty good to start with so no wet sanding required , just some compound and wax. it's lookin good. Dave.

You may run in to interference on the front, the centre hole in the wheels might not be large enough to go over the rotor snout on the SVO brakes.

SVO rotors are the same as non-ABS Lincoln Mark VII, so there's your answer I think ... grinding on the rotor snouts, or spacers are going to be needed.

cheers
