another new guy
good evening Im Brian proud owner of a 1965 fastback 2+2 automatic ragoon red number matching texas car built December 21 1964 with just about all original metal It is in getting body work done and new paint after being stripped the car was found to have had a rear passenger quarter replaced about 30 or so years ago(brazed) according to my paint guy plus a different trunk lid all other parts appear to be original and in great shape also upon close inspection by the body guy it would appear the car was in an accident causing the need for rear quarter and trunk I bought the car 4 years ago in texas off ebay the guy I bought it off of his father was a autobody guy so I decided to have the new paint job and body work done by him however after 4 years of waiting decided to pull the plug with only the driver side rear quarter stripped and left to rust( pictures to follow when I figure out how to post them lol So I finally got it up hear in October just before its 50 th birthday December 21 which the car shares with me but a few years apart I turned 57 that day besides being my favourite car that date sold me on it anyway I could go on here but looking at the time I gotta get some sleep I GET UP AT 2:00 AM for work so ill post some pics when I figure it out and I have some questions for you guys and gals as Im quite new to this anyway ttyl

Welcome Brian that sounds like a sweet ride and the way the days line up you'd be crazy not to buy it it makes for a cool story and I guess it was easy to get the story if the guy was a body man that explains right there where all the body work came from man thats crazy that you would have to wait four years no wonder you pulled the plug welcome to the site can't wait to see the pics getting up at 2:00am to go to work is nuts.
