Kingston stanger here
Hi everybody!
I just joined-up here, I'm a proud owner of a '94 Mustang GT convertible, its a 5spd with deep forest green exterior and tan top/interior. I bought the car in october 2005 in Toronto with 158,000km. I'm up to 181,000km now and have had very few issues with the car. It even made the trip from Kingston to Halifax 5 times so far, averaging a decent 24mgp. I love thins thing. I didn't make a signature yet but I'll list out my current and upcoming mods now in case some were curious.
Mods so far
Intrax springs (2" drop), '98 Cobra wheels with 255/45 275/40 f/r Fuzion ZRi's, Cobra sway bars, Tokico shocks, 3.73 FRPP gears, clear headlights/corner lights/fog lamps, Mac equal-length shorty headers (horrible things), BBK X-pipe, Mac cat-back (its loud!) and Mac underdrive pulleys.
Awaiting installation
FRPP aluminum driveshaft, MGW shifter, BBK shorty headers, Maximum Motorsports lower control arms, FRPP upper control arms (also with new axle bushings), MM pinion snubber
Coming before the summer driving season begins
New upholstery from 50resto (two-tone black and tan), Deep Dish Anthrecite Bullit wheels w/ 315/35's in the rear, MM full-length subframe connectors, Bullit/Mach1/Cobra brake kit, Tokico front struts.
That'll put enough of a beating on the wallet for one year, and notice I have not touched the engine much at all. Next year is when that all changes. Plans are for a 418 stroker motor with around 8.5:1 compression fed by a single-turbo setup (10-12#). My goal is 650-700hp. Of course the stock T5 won't handle this too well, so I'm looking at a viper-spec T56 swap and clutch, along with 31-spline axles and an auburn diff.
I'm hoping to catch as many meets and shows this summer as I can, so I hope to get to meet some fellow stangers who are in the southern Ontario region.
