Always wanted one. Got a new candy apple red GT last Friday. Wanna live in it! Great fun car. Got one of the last 2010 cars equipped with the track pack one mods includingh the diff 19" wheels with Pirellis and brake pads.

Love it. But I need to know the break-in period KmS. I am a member of the local BMW driving school and want to attend spring tracking events but don't want to rev past 4K until the break-in is complete.

If anyone has info, please get in touch here.
I also wanted to know if there are Mustang Club driving schools or tracking events. Thanks. Alan

There is no break-in period. They are ready to go out of the box...

With technology today compared to yesteryear is completely different.

Get in her and hammer away...

I don't think there is a break in period. Mine was shooting snot as soon as I left the dealerships lot. Welcome to the site. It sounds like your new purchase was very rational for you Alan, no pun intended.

Thanks guys.
No breaking in? Thanks.
I have been driving it like an old man. Hell, I am an old man!
This means that I can get to the track again this spring at Tremblant, and summer at Tremblant and Watkins Glen (What a track!) and perhaps Mosport. Date is Monday June 14th 2010. Who is going to Mosport?

Look forward to meeting like-minded driving crazies.
I used to be rational. That's gone now!
Take a look at the picture from the web. No pix of my car yet, it needs a wash.
And tell me ... does it need a silver stripe?
Ragards, Alan

Black stripe might look better.
