Saying hello from Blighty!
Hello All,
I wanted to introduce myself, I'm Rob from Surrey in England. I live a stones throw away from Dunsfold Aerodrome (the Top Gear test track). I joined your forums as I'm a bit of a Mustang enthusiast and have family living north of Barrie in Ontario.
I've just had to book myself a last minute flight to Toronto for next week to help out with some family matters and decided to take some time off work to spend some time in Canada.
Do you guys have any meets or shows going on near Barrie or Toronto or any recommendations for things to see or do whilst I'm visiting?
Don't laugh too loud, 'my little pony' is a 2006 Screaming Yellow V6 Pony Pack which I've upgraded a bit since I bought it in 2009. My friend from Kentucky is constantly reminding me that I should have bought a GT, but in fairness I couldn't afford one at the time.
I'm an active (paid) member of the Mustang Owners Club of Great Britain and spend allot of my spare time working on old American trucks and cars (unprofessionally), everything from 1930s Diamond Ts to 1965 Mustangs.
My (not very good) build thread: Project S6

Welcome to CMOC! Nice ride you got there, I'm sure someone from down east will be along soon but I cant see there being any car shows this time of year. Most the guys got there rides put away for the winter.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Shame my Mustang will be back in England whilst I'm visiting Canada, I'm sure it would have felt right at home on your roads
Is there any area secretaries or parts of the forum you guys would recommend posting in for stuff going on in the Toronto area? Or are there any good Mustang specialist shops around, might want to get talked into bringing back a ProCharger for the old V6 with me.
Edit: I realize the show seasons over but thought it was worth asking . I use my Mustang as my daily driver, but then again our winters aren't as severe as yours.

Welcome aboard. Very nice mustang. There is a few guys on here that can help you with ideas on making your V6 really work!!
As for shows, and stuff, the season is pretty much done here as the weather gets a little more unfavourable this time of year for us, and some of us have started to put our rides away for the season already!!!
