End of Drag Racing in Canada??????

I agree 100%. Anyone saying Canada sucks is a bunch of tards. Go elsewhere.
The policy may suck and may impede on some peoples hobbies, but Drag Racing is pretty insignificant in terms of what Canada brings to the table.
The whole hobby is a rich mans game. Want the best of the best, you pay.
The streets here now are not meant for some of our stangs. Do we really need 400 HP cars on the street? No, do we want them, yes!!! :p
I think the future is electric anyways, people better start getting ready for that.

as for concern for people taking it to the streets, I'm pretty sure that won't happen. for two reasons.1) i doubt that many roads will hold the power of cars that necessitate the use of leaded gas. and 2) if there is a ban, supply will dry up and the ones who decided to race on the streets won't be able to do so any longer.
however, knowing me, I may have missed the point completely and will log in tomorrow and find a bunch of ppl calling me stupid.
c'est la vie

I think you will see more people going electric for drag, more of the fuelie racers complaining about it etc.
Electric drag cars are going to be wicked fast.
I think the future of hybrid cars is going to be awesome. I am not sure we are at the stage where all gas cars will be outlawed, maybe another 30 years from now.

And when I said rich, I meant people who can say "lets go to paris for dinner".... I'm fully aware of the time, money, preparation, training and guts it takes to be in and around drag racing. I was simply stating that for me, my budget for the first project would be a mid 10s full interior and still street legal. I'll be the first to admit it, I think the funny and top fuel and alcohol cars would scare the shat outta me
EDIT: and thank you for explaining and acting mature instead of flaming me like anybody would in any forum anywhere else in the world... CANADA ROCKS

And one day Woodbridge will be a part of Canada
I have to admit, I am not even really bothered if drag racing ends. I enjoy watching it, I've never taken my stang to the track, I don't really care.
And even though I enjoy watching it, I far prefer watching GT racing or 2 1/2 Men
Racers will just need to adjust. I believe it will just be the evolution of the sport.

I highly doubt gas powered cars will ever be banned,... eventually one day everything will be electric,.. but they won`t outlaw them,... just won`t be able to purchase them,.. so those who have em,.. better hold onto them,.... but I can`t see that happening in the next 25 years,.. then again what do i know,.... I`m just a bus driver.
