Just a update with my S197

Well last month I went to Milan dragway for the NMRA race at Milan. I ended up coming 3rd in the superstang class so I was happy about that. The car ran a best of 12.04 @116 mph to date. Since then Ive gone to cayuga and ran a bunch of 12.1 passes. My sport line springs and stock suspension are killing me so Qa1 suspension has been ordered.

Very close to my goal and Im not changing my set up until I hit a 11 second pass with a stock long block S197

GT500's, Termy's bring the noise!

Nice job. I have seen a GT500 run 10.54 which seems alright. I have a buddy doing the bolt on thing only and he has run a best of 13.1 at Race City Calgary (3500 ft) He still has some work to catch you:laughhard

Yes sir  It's almost un heard of with a 4.6. I love going to the track (like I said on the other boards) "What blower do you have!?" "I don't"

"But my GT500 is only running 13's!?"

I know the GT you are speaking of.
There is a 2787 foot difference between Milan and Calgary so I suspect that the car you speak of is going to run pretty close to the same times at each track especially a motor only pass. I know my car is a full second faster at Mission than it is at Calgary which is about the same altitude difference.
