Is it worth putting in a Dual centerforce clutch for street use?? Any idea what it would cost?

Personally, i wouldn't put a dual clutch in a car unless you're pushing some pretty decent numbers. maybe try looking for a stage two clutch? i'll try and find links

It's a good clutch!BUT.....Just make sure you look over it good before you have it installed.
Had to take mine out after one summers use.It wouldn't allow me to enguage into gear from a dead stop at a intersection about 75% of the time, fought the whole summer to figure out my clutch trans issues!!....and still don't know why it gave me issues.Put my stock one back in,and all is good!
From my search on stang boards,Canadian, and American, only a real small handfull have had an issue with the dual friction clutch in the 4.6L stangs equipped with the 3650 tremmec.

Who did the installation? If it was a shop you should have road them until it was all good

White Beauty, I don't see the issue in it. My only suggestion is that if you are planning to run big HP numbers, make sure you install a scatter shield.

They were trying to figure it out as much as our scheduals met, they tried different things that could possibly solve the issue, even had the trans rebuilt for the second time....still had the issue.
The problem is that i had a new Centreforce d/f clutch install when the dealer did the tsb fix on my trans the first time round. After a few months,it started to give me an issue. They were very good with me as Ford covered everything for me.

I have been using Centerforce Dual Friction clutches for the last 5 years or so... great clutch with a nice light pedal feel, very happy with them. That sucks that you had trouble with yours LOW03, I have only used them in foxbodys though.
