Changing diff cover

Changing diff cover
So just wondering I am buying a 91 notch back 5.0
And its a 4 speed auto..
What I am wondering is I am changing the diff fluid because the car has been sitting,And will be doing gears next month,The local speed shop told me I should change the diff cover to a better one with the girders in it..
Another shop that does lots of mustangs tells me not to bother with changing th diff cover, but to just change the gears and stay with a stock diff cover..
So any help on this would be great..Not that I am trying to be cheap,But just wondering what is the best way I go..Thxs,jason

Lol. Ok well thxs for that. But I may add more power in the next few month.
Maybe for now I will just leave the cover. And when I do the gear swap and s/c. I will swap out the cover.
Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the help guys,I am not Sure where I am really going with the build on this car..
But I may track the car,But now speaking of installing new axles,Should I also do the swap from a 4 bolt to a 5 bolt also..

^^^ I think the only advantage of 5 lug is that there may be a greater choice of wheels, I like the "old school" look of Center Lines & Welds on my Foxes, & there's lots of those available for a good price.
