Let's be real here dude.....You're a frickin Cracker Jack! I'm sorry, but I call em as I see em. When you first introduced yourself as a new owner, you later posted in that thread that you weren't getting a new Mustang because you lost your job, and now your saying it's because of the tranny issue and your getting a Challenger What did you find your dream job with a written guarantee of employment, or a bank that lends money to someone that just started a new job. Gee, something sounds a little fishy
Your story doesn't seem to credible imo, and I doubt you are even getting a new Challenger. Anyway, enjoy your new bike....I mean car kid!

any idea where the tranny is made for Dodge. I know the engine is made in Mexico and my car was put together in Flat Rock Mich, God only knows were parts are made nowadays. Honestly i could be talked in a Challenger but it would have to be the SRT8 as I always/tend to chase after the big dog of whatever model.

I did loose my job but lucky for me I did get it back, I'm a CNC operator and at times it's slow I thought the worst at first and even my boss did but things are alright I even went to see the GT and asked them what is going on, I got the run around now I don't know about you but to me when I want to take a Sunday drive and have some fun on the twisty stuff then at the back of my head go " wait if I do this will I damage something?" now I don't know about you but that sort of spoils the point, I have. Itching against you nor any mustang owner but when I feel like I'm getting lied too I bail. I wanted a "American " car I know having things from china are unavoidable but not when it comes to a major part of the drivetrain. I didn't get a Camaro because I can't see out if it, I didn't go with challenger at first because of bangs for your buck but now I realize if I want something I have to spend the money I'm 24 sir an I have been saving up since I was 16 for a new car and ford broke my heart. So blast me all you want for going with dodge but I and everyone else has a right to know what goes into their car

it is Mich. Tremec TR6060 straight out of the Viper, the SRT8 is mostly a price cut Grand touring car, on the track it can't hold out on the mustang, I love both cars but even if I were to drop one in place of the Getrag it would cost me as much as the SRT8. the Challenger is built in Brampton ONtario, same as Charger and 300, and the Lancia as well. it's less than the gt500 ( driven it.. and it's terrifying in a good way) anyway I digress I'll leave you guys to chat sue more, it was nice while it lasted. one day another chance will come by. see ya everyone

Take care, and don't take offence to anything I have said. Sometimes my *** gets jealous of the chit that comes out of my mouth. Everyone has their own preference, and who know's one day maybe I'll be driving something other than a Mustang. Especially if all these rumors about the tranny, and everything else come true. Please accept my sincere apology.
