***SOLD FS: set of 4 Cobra wheels & 2 tires***SOLD
I have a set of authentic '98 Cobra wheels for sale, they were on my '94 GT. Currently there are two 255/45's (which cost $200 each new last year) mounted that are in great condition and have about 80% tread. The other two wheels are bare, since I transfered the 275/40's that were mounted on them to my new wheels. They measure 17x8" and will fit any '94-'04 'stang or '79-'93 with the 5-lug conversion.
Here are the latest pics of them on the car:
Also included are the "Cobra" center caps and chrome lug nuts with 4 locking lugs nuts and the key.
$500 O.B.O. takes it all.

Sorry, I'll try to get more close-up pics of them by monday (gone for easter weekend). I only recall the passenger front wheel having a spot a couple inches in lenght of curb rash on it. Nothing really noticable. Also, one of them has a small amount of oxidation around the area where the valve stem comes out, but I'll try to see if I can clean that up somehow. Other than that they are really clean wheels with no scratches on an of the spokes.

I'd be interested in 'em, but I'm not really interested in the rubber, and I also think $500 is a bit steep - but that's mostly cause I'm an ebay shopper. lol

Yeah, reason I put $500 is because of the two tires that are in excellent shape and are installed, balanced and ready to bolt-on. I will sell the wheels alone for less if need be, but would much prefer not having to take them to the shop to have the tires taken off. But I am flexible. I will clean them up and take close-up pics tomorrow after work.

You sure they're 255/45 and not 245/45? 245/45 is the stock size for those wheels... those would throw the speedo off.
What brand and speed rating are the tires?

Yup, not a typo. I ended up getting a set of 255/45's for the front because at the time and place I bought them they were $50 cheaper (each) than 245/45's. Apparently this was the factory tire size on the '98 Cobra, but don't quote me on that. They were put on the front so I had no issues with the speedo. I had 275/40's mounted on the rear which are identical in height to the 245's. There were no fitment issues and they didn't bulge much at all, as you can see in the pics. The only shitty part about this is that I got a nail in one of them lat summer in Fredericton and it got chewed-up. I had no choice at the time but to replace it with the closest thing which is a Goodyear-based econo brand tire with a very similar tread pattern. The other tire is a Fuzion ZRi (essentially a Firestone Firehawk without the warranty). The price is negotiable if this is a problem. No one had ever noticed that I had 2 different tires on the front of the car, since you can only see one side at a time anyway.
