It's a hard sell as most peoples cars with this motor are still under warranty and so just do bolt ons. This is not the first time i've put these valves up for sale and the $250 i'm asking is giving them away. Buy them and put them away til your ready to tear into it!

ok time for a newb to pipe up - my 06GT warranty is up as of today...what gains to these provide?

ok, so here's a quick one for the newb's. The advantages are:
strength- stronger material made from machined forgings. A stronger valve will allow for higher spring pressures and higher lift cam's and higher rpm's
durability- will last longer in a performance motor than stock
higher operating temps.- they will deal with the higher internal temps of a performance motor without burning out or breaking
flow- smoother swirl polished finish will allow more and better flow characteristics
finish- smooth finish will prevent carbon from building up as quickly
+1mm oversize- will allow seats and throats to be opened up to allow more flow
Manley- a trusted american company that was one of the first companies making aftermarket parts for the 4.6 modular engines. Also supplied the forged internals to the '03-04 supercharged svt cobras
Now, you wouldn't just tear your motor apart to just put a set of valves in it. it would be an enhancement that would work in conjunction with other work and components. example: ported cylinder heads, performance cams, stiffer valve springs............. it's kinda the same as replacing your weak cast crankshaft and replacing it with a stronger forged unit that will withstand the extra horsepower and punishment a performance motor dishes out.
hope that kinda helps
