Add HP!

Hey;

I have SLP LM2...
MAC CAI...
Soon 3:73 Gears...

What are the easiest ways, besides an O/R H OR X Pipe, to add more HP?
Give me all your suggestions!

Also, for those of you who are running O/R H OR X pipes, have you run into any problems with the LAW?!

Thanks

Easy ways of adding HP other then exhaust...?
- Under drive pulleys 15hp
- Cold Air Intake with a AMSOil air filter "oily residue free"
-Larger Throttle Body and possibly a bigger MAF.
- Heads, Intake, Cam
- Port work.....

Then a turbo/blower/Nitrous.

I am running a MAC Prochamber mid section with no cats and Long tube headers it sounds awesome, I have not had a problem with cops yet.

Nitrous, easiest way and cheap. I am not sure if it actually gets much easier than that for big gains.

MOE / MTO could be your nightmare if caught. Stang Illusions 5.0L doesn't need to worry because hes from trenton, the OPP just sit around on loyalist parkway all day, which might be similar for you being from N.S.

If you were in the big city here, I would say avoid going cat free at all costs, and unless you are running a turbo car, I don't believe the gains will be that substantial.

So yes, Nitrous and or a blower, easiest and biggest gains.

I dont know to much about Nitrous setups
If I buy, lets say the ZEX kit, its 539.99 on american muscle
Does that come with everything I need?
Is ZEX a good setup?
Fill me in guys

And are there different kits, I noticed 1 was called WET INJECTED???

Do you have a link ?

I would say the only down side to the nitrous is that it takes up either cabin or trunk space and "should" be disconnected before any law enforcement agencies pull you over. There are ways you could hide it i'm sure.

I was told yesterday that Nitrous was hard on the engine, expensive to refill and didnt last all that long?
What is your take on that?

Of course, almost all big power adders are tough on engines, but to answer the question the easiest way / bang for your buck is Nitrous.

Does that mean you will pop your motor, no. You can run 50 / 150 / 250 shots and even more depending on your build. A friend of mine ran 150 shot on his stock block 5L for a few years.

Nitrous will last as long as you want it to. Use it every day at every light, you will be refilling often. Use it when needed and you should be ok.

There are other alternatives, but they aren't cheap. If money wasnt a worry, I would go with a turbo kit, less stress on the engine and huge gains.

Of course, do all the small things too, gear, exhaust etc.

Just do a turbo if you want a large adder.
Just remember you don't have to re-fill AIR lol plus a turbo is legal to drive on the street and you don't have to unhook it
Same goes with a blower

Adding a Turbo is not necessarily easy as he wants.

While there may be inconveniences with Nitrous, there are still issues with Turbo setups as well. This does not take into the cost of purchasing, setting up and tuning the car.

I mean, you could always buy one of these turbo kits from eBay. LOL
