Smile Question on buying used Supercharger!!

Hey I noticed an Add local to me on craigslist for a Used Procharger P1SC-1 Kit for 1400$

His Add sais: This is a complete ProCharger system ready to be installed. It is a P1SC-1 polished blower. . . This kit comes with all necessary piping, brackets, clamps, bolt, air filter, belt, new oil bottle, as well as the intercooler, 60lbs injectors, Anderson Power-pipe which replaced the stock procharger intake for more air and more horsepower, Diablosport MAFia, installation guide and ProCharger Blown+Inter-cooled License Plate Frame.

The pictures look good, looks in pretty good condition and the polished head unit looks awesome. So what would I be looking for and asking him and what things should I be worried about guys! thanks!

I think that's a great deal. As long as everything is there it's worth the gamble. Even if the supercharger needed a rebuild it still wouldn't be too bad of a deal.

Yea that's what I was thinking, however I just was looking for some pointers to spotting things in or on the head unit that could mean there's some damage. If I buy it I think ill just send it to procharger and get them to take a look!

I agree.... The P1-sc is a nice head unit.... Procharger is easy to deal with anyways If it needs a rebuild..

I finally got hold of the guy, he bought a brand new Camaro :/ lol, and parted with his 03 GT and procharger. It only has 8000kms on it, the pics look good. He gave me a serial number where would I be able to look this up just on there site or by emailing procharger?

give them a call.. Or maybe a Procharger dealer could look into it. But a serial number would onlytell you the age of it if anything. for that price and only 8000K I say bite the bullet and grab it dude.

Took a look a while ago, unfortunately it looked great! But with some research Procharger stated the serial was actually for 2005+ the guy was lying :/
