Saleen SuperCharger Install
Yup, install time again! This will be my 3rd power adder install thread on this forum! This time a SERIES IV SALEEN SUPERCHARGER kit.
This ones gonna be a cool build, it's going to be mounted on a friends 2004 Triple Black Convertible Beauty! The kit was bought in the winter from a U.S U.S Ford Dealer. As luck would have it, it was missing a few key parts and gathering these parts was no easy task.
No help from Saleen they were useless as the kit was discontinued they didn't stock parts and offered no help in obtaining them whatsoever, pretty disappointing for a company with such a strong Mustang following, I have always liked Saleen, but sourcing those parts has turned me from them.
The owner chose the kit based on reviews, ease of install, looks and price point. In hindsight with maybe some research in parts availability department may have swayed the choice of the Saleen kit but damn the torpedo's...were gonna throw it on now anyway!
We have to get this one completed tuned and dynoed before the weekend for a local show and shine.. hopefully we can get it completed and line up the 3 supercharged cars together for a few pics
I will update the build with a few pictures as we go along!
Cheers

Should be a beast when it's done. I had a go around with Saleen also a few years ago. I purchased a body kit for my 04 GT Convertible and got it from Advantage Ford. When I got it there was no hardware or instructions. I called Advantage and they said that they order the kits in bulk several at a time and that is how they come. I emailed Saleen a few different times and didn't even recieve a reply. I will never buy one of their products again.
