Hi all,

Letting go of my 65 Mustang 2+2 Fastback C-code automatic project. It is an early 65 Fastback, with a decent body. It is a project because I took apart the front end completely and exposed the engine compartment. My plan was to install an '88 302HO with T5 manual, and create a very stealth-looking restomod. The engine bay is painted and ready for the new powerplant, however I decided to replace the floor fronts as well. This is as far as I got.

It was painted its original Rangoon Red enamel in about '89 by its original owner, and held up well. Once put back together, it will still have a decent paint job that can be enjoyed for years before needing a refresh.

Don't turn away from the price tag just yet...I'm not nearly finished. It comes with all of the parts I collected over the years to make it an awesome restomod, including:
- rebuilt / bored 0.30 over 302HO shortblock with mild cam and forged Probe pistons
- NEW Twisted wedge heads
- NEW Edelbrock fuel injection system, with manifold, distributor, CPU
- NEW Ford Racing valve covers and oval air cleaner
- used '88 Mustang 5.0 T5 with bellhousing, shifter, NEW retro mustang shift handle, reman'd flywheel, NEW Ford Racing King Cobra clutch, NEW hydraulic clutch kit, NEW JBA bracket for T5, used 5.0 driveshaft
- NEW JBA exhaust...from shorty header complete to back tips
- Old Air complete AC/heat system including aluminum radiator and electric fan
- NEW Randall's Rack System with power steering
- NEW PST (complete) suspension (everything!)
- NEW sheetmetal: passenger side floor (front), rad support, frame rail extensions, Left and Right torqueboxes (need to be installed)
- NEW bumpers still in box, NEW mirrors (driver and pass)
- NEW Interior kit, including upgraded TMI seats (front and rear) with headrests and larger bolsters, carpet (main and 2+2 carpet), truck liner, door panels, felts, new interior quarters (old ones have speaker holes)
- NEW retrostyle radio with CD changer
- NEW Pony wood steering wheel (the good one), NEW color matched console (with 2 cupholders)
- I installed new taillights and front turn signals
- Has nearly new BFG Radial TAs mounted on 15" Magnum 500's
- NEW aluminum rocker trim, NEW scuff plates
- plus a bunch of other stuff I don't remember.

The reason I'm selling? You know the story...kid, wife, house, job = not a lot of time. It has sat for 4 years now, and I just want to see it go to a good home. Know that I realize the loss I'm taking with this, so I am firm on my price and willing to wait for the right buyer. It is time to let it go... :(

Please call me at home, or leave a message and I'll call you back. I'll upload pictures as time permits and as per requests, until then, I've included the picture before I took the front end apart. I will be checking the post occasionally (1-2 X per week).

Happy hunting!

Steve.
