1992 Toyota Corolla - get your beater early
OK, I have a 1992 Toyota Corolla, that has been sitting around waiting for me to fix it up and sell it for 2 years....... well, I've changed my mind, I'm only gonna try to sell it now, forget the fixing up part
Here are the details:
1992 Toyota Corolla 4dr, with auto
- Car ran before I bought it, but has not been started in 2 years (motor still turns over thou)
-Tank (fuel pump outlet in takn) was leaking. A used tank was purchased, with a working pump, but never finished the install. The rubber neck that connects the tank to the filler is cut, and it needs a new one. This is about the only thing it needs to get it running.
-280,000 km on the clock
-AMFM Tape deck, ps.....yaddy yaddy yaddy....what can I tell you its a grocery getter
-Drivers door is rusty, but have used good door for it.
-Some rust around quarters, but fixable
-Car is grey with a grey interior, interior is in good cond (no rips)
- Rad is not the best, but doesn't leak
-most everything else on this car is actually not to bad.... which is why I bought it with the intent to fix and sell.
-The car passed emmisions easily before it was shelved, I scooped it off one of my "mechanically challenged" friends, he drove this car everyday to and from work before the leak in the fuel pump happened
- I will not fool anyone, this car needs to be fixed up, but it is fixable for someone that has time, and wants a good cheap beater.
I just want to get rid of this thing. For some reason these cars sell for alot of money, and thanks to Progressive Insurance raising the bar for us people selling things, not only will I give you the price I am asking for, but the price of a whole bunch of my nearest competitors ( Linky ). I am asking $400 OBO (no serious offer will be refused) (as is of course). The car is in Waterloo (at my parents place), so you will need to come and get it.
I can get pics for it (haven't taken any yet, but no biggie if you want them). Just PM me your E-mail, and I will send them to anyone interested.
